Hot days and cool nights, thin soils, and stressed vines"?these are the hallmarks of Keyes Canyon. Vines struggle to produce fruit here, resulting in tiny clusters with high skin-to-juice ratios, which create deeply concentrated wines with intense flavors. This southwest benchland vineyard, planted at 450 feet in elevation, boasts a half-dozen soil types, including sandy clay loam. It has proven to be the perfect vineyard for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.
