Product Overview
Jameson 18 Yr Limited Reserve
Matured for 18 years in hand-selected oak casks from Europe and America, this rare whiskey is finished in first-fill bourbon barrels. This rite of passage introduces subtle traces of vanilla to an exceptionally balanced, mellow whiskey with a lingering finale of wood, spice and toffee. An elder statesman of our portfolio, each bottle of this unique whiskey is individually numbered.
Nose:Aromatic oils with a touch of wood and spicy toffee.
Taste:Wonderfully mellow and smooth, a mouthful of complex flavour - fudge, toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, vanilla and a gentle sherry nuttiness.
Finish:A long, lingering finish carries the theme of the wood, spice and toffee right through to the end.
Connemara 12 Year Old
The 12-year-old edition of Connemara single malt has a full, rounded and complex flavour that is both smooth and smoky at the same time. The peat smoke is well integrated and is perhaps a little less pronounced than with the standard bottling and the cask strength. Only limited amounts of Connemara 12 Year Old are made each year, partly due to the popularity of the NAS version, which sucked up the stocks of the peated Cooley malt before it could reach 12 years of age. It's well worth trying for anyone who's a fan of Scotch whiskey and wants to dip their toe into Irish.
Bushmills 1608
A special bottling to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the license to distil aqua vitae in Antrim originally granted in 1608 to Sir Thomas Phillips. Bushmills 1608 was named Best Irish Blended Whiskey (No Age Statement) at the World Whiskies Awards twice, most recently in 2012.
