Efe Fresh Grapes is the first fresh grape raki from Turkey.
Efe Fresh Grapes' formula is based on the softness and fruity taste of fresh grape alcohol when compared to dry grape alcohol (sultanas). Sultanas have been the main raw material for raki until the launch of Efe Fresh Grapes. In the elaboration of Efe Fresh Grapes, the alcohol is distilled by selecting the grapes from the Aegean region and they are re-distilled in copper stills with anisette to achieve a unique recipe.
Efe Raki brought together the experts to create the taste that defines raki with its authentic recipe. Top-quality fresh Sultaniye and Razaki grapes of the Aegean coast gives Efe Raki its distinct taste and unmistakable aroma every time. Fresh grapes alcohol is redistilled in pot stills with anis seeds to offer the quality that is appreciated by even the most discriminating raki drinkers. You may enjoy Efe Raki stright or by first adding water then ice, as a long drink.
Ouzo and Arak are traditionally served with a small plate of a variety of appetizers called mezes, usually small fresh fish, fries, olives and feta cheese. Ouzo can be described to have a similar taste to absinthe which is liquorice-like, but smoother.
