Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Rye Whiskey is the first ultra premium rye that extra-ages its barrels aboard ships that travel the world's seas. Blending the bold flavor of rye with the rich caramelization that comes from the unique aging process, this liquor is like no other with aromas of toasted marshmallow, maple syrup and a hint of spice. Flavor notes of toffee, vanilla and a hint of tobacco lead to a finish of baking spices and cinnamon kissed with a touch of sea salt. It's non-chill filtered, allowing for an even fuller flavor profile with a rich, bold taste. Aged at the mercy of the sea, this unique rye whiskey matures in Kentucky new char and toasted barrels before it's placed on ships, where the constant motion of the sea churns the whiskey, increasing its interaction with the wood of the barrel.
