The journey begins with the careful plantation of the Tequilana Weber agave blue variety, which matures over five years, ensuring optimal flavor. During the artisanal "Jima" process, skilled "jimadores" expertly cut agave leaves, revealing the heart, or "pineapple", of the agave. These selected pineapples are then slow-steamed for 79 hours, resulting in a sweet and rich essence.
The pressing phase employs specialized mills, extracting the pure juice containing the exclusive sugars of the agave. Fermentation, a crucial step lasting 24 to 72 hours, transforms natural sugars into exquisite alcohols, defining the tequila's distinct characteristics. Dulce Amargura Tequila Reposado Navidad undergoes a meticulous double distillation, sometimes followed by a third, achieving the perfect alcoholic degree.
As a finishing touch, our Reposado Navidad is delicately aged in white American oak barrels, carefully stored in our cava to mature under ideal conditions. This exquisite tequila promises a harmonious blend of flavors, aromas, and complexity, delivering a festive touch to your celebrations.
