Boundary Oak Distillery was established in 2013 in Radcliff Kentucky USA. This family-owned distillery has grown to become a leading producer of highly-favored, small-batch bourbon whiskey, offering selections that include Lincoln Straight, 82nd Airborne, and Old Kentucky Home. The brand was launched by Master Distiller Brent Goodin, whose ancestor Samuel Goodin built the Goodin Fort at the site of Old Boston, which ultimately became Bardstown - better known as the Bourbon Capital of the World ™! From its humble yet historical beginnings, Boundry Oak has expanded to offer 11 unique products, including its signature Kentucky Moonshine. The distillery has even received an endorsement from the son of General George S. Patton in partnership with the Patton Museum of Leadership for its barrel-aged spirit known as Patton Armored Diesel. Palate: Taste of oak, bitterness leans into more notes of citrus there is some honey for sweetness, but the spicy heat level similar to Vietnamese cinnamon and chili flakes makes each sip more hot than sweet.
Finish: Citrus continues on the finish, but becomes more lemon-y. The oak calms down and isn’t as noticeable. The sweetness really tapers off but menthol cooling notes remain.
