Mezcal de Leyendas Vinata Solar Durango is created by Maestro Mezcalero Gerardo Ruelas, a third-generation sotol producer.
This artisanal silver mezcal is environmentally friendly as it's produced by using only solar power, which significantly reduces its ecological footprint.
Crafted from agave Durangensis, the agave hearts are cooked in a steam-heated steel oven, ground by a mechanical grinder, fermented in oak wood tanks and finally double-distilled in a copper alembic still. Each step is powered by solar energy.
Bottled at 91.8 proof, this limited mezcal delivers fresh herbal aromas on the nose and a clean, long-lasting candied finish on the full-bodied palate.
