Krome Vodka is made in the American Pacific Northwest from Cascade Mountain water. It's made from a base of corn, which will provide a smoother, sweeter taste profile relative to other vodkas. It is filtered through volcanic rock, which is the custom of the distillery. The Krome Vodka label is owned and managed by 4th Street, LLC of is made by private label agreement with the Bendistillery in Oregon.
Krome Vodka was awarded a Platinum Medal at the 2009 Sip Awards.
(Please note that while the website mentions a double gold medal at the 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, careful reading will note that the "ingredients" or the "distiller" won the double gold, which is true, but not this specific vodka. We will, of course, reflect any awards that it receives as it comes to our attention.)
