El Destilador tequila (or "The Distiller's Tequila") is made under the auspices of the Destileria Santa Lucia (under the NOM Tequilera Newton E Hijos) made to represent the tradition and culture of Mexico. El Destilador comes in highly stylized bottles with metallic etchings and an interesting space-capsule looking shape. El Destilador Anejo tequila is their aged (or "anejo") expression, meaning it will have aged in oak for at least 1 year. This gives the typically clear tequila a deep color and complexity similar in style to cognac or whiskey.
