Dead Man's Hand Small Batch Whiskey is distilled in Whiskey River, Fairfield CA. A wonderful blend created for those that may or may not wear a black suit each day! The Dead Man's Hand is a two-pair poker hand, namely "Aces and Eights", The hand gets its name from the Legend of it having been the five-card-draw hand held by Wild Bill Hickok at the time of his murder (August 2, 1876) in Deadwood South Dakota. It is accepted that the hand included the Aces and Eights of both of the black suits.
Big sweet corn nose with butterscotch and spice in the background. Fat on the palate. The taste reveals French oak spice and more sweet sugars from the corn. Finish is pleasantly long with the French oak spice fading slowly.
