Product Overview
It is a mezcal made 100% with Agave Espadín, it is aged for six to seven years, and it is made in the traditional way with bakery pulled by a horse.
Santa Pedrera Mezcal is made with Espadin agave in San Agustín Amatengo, Oaxaca. The agave is cooked in an underground oven, the agave is ground through a horse-drawn tahona, the agave is fermented using airborne yeasts, and this mezcal is double distilled in a copper pot.
The Santa Pedrera really jumps out of the glass into your nose with refreshing notes of lemongrass and that classic balance of rich agave and minerals. It says “Drink me Alice!”
Bursting with rich roast agave and sea salt. It has all the classic Oaxacan espadin character. If you want to introduce someone to mezcal this is your bottle. If you want to drink something every night, this is your bottle. If you want to break someone of the habit of describing mezcal as “tequila’s smoky cousin,” this is your bottle.
