This is a medium-bodied, 15 year old rum.An exceptionally smooth, richly-flavored, medium-bodied dark golden rum from Mexican distillers Licores Veracruz, who age their rums in old European white oak barrels for depth and woody complexity. Not as sweet as many old rums, this is a must for serious rum fans and fans of serious rums.
Nose: Cigar leaves and toffee. Manuka honey, allspice and hints of soft smoke.
Palate: Calves leather, mixed spices and tobacco leaves. Sweet, rich and creamy. Liquorice root and Demerara sugar.
Finish: Vanilla and intense.
