Product Overview
The Corcel portfolio consists of Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo. Tequilana Weber blue agaves from the Guadalajara region are harvested at seven years of age, cooked in autoclave ovens and triple distilled in stainless steel at Destileria Santa Lucia (NOM 1173), in Zapopan. The Reposado is aged in American oak barrels for six months, while the Añejo sees 16, and the Extra Añejo 36 months, respectively.
Color and Body: Golden straw with greenish flashes, medium body with medium tears of good retention.
Nose: Hazelnuts and honeyed notes prevail in the palette of aromas, as marked nuances of vanilla pods, butterscotch, with subtle notes of cinnamon, followed by notes like cooked agave and fresh chamomile.
Taste: Sweet / spicy impact balanced by notes of toffee, cinnamon and nutmeg, creamy and astringent sensation appears as whipped cream at the end of the palate, nuances of wood, agave nectar and walnuts finish the palette of flavors.
Aftertaste: Toffee, butterscotch, walnuts and cinnamon.
