Convite Mezcal Esencial is named for the Oaxacan tradition of gathering with friends and neighbors after a successful harvest, and this spirit is the perfect choice for sharing a drink at a warm gathering. To make Convite Mezcal Esential, agave is nutured and then hand harvested before being cooked in a stone oven lit by oak firewood.
This cooked agave is fermented with spring water sourced from the Zapotec mountains and distilled in a copper still in small batches to ensure supreme flavor. Aromas of citrus zest and a hint of smoke lead you into a palate of cooked agave, bell pepper, and slight brine.
Soft and light. talkative. Herbal flavor with a citrus undertone and a mineral touch. Essential is the entry level of the CONVITE Mezcal range, ideal to drink alone or in cocktails.
