Winemaker's Notes
A wonderful growing season set the stage for ripe fruit with decidedly pronounced avors and aromas, although this wine has never been described as shy. You'll nd the expected grassy tones here on the nose, with plenty of citrus and tropical fruit avors alongside a crisp, bright freshness encouraged by wonderful acidity and a full, rich mouthfeel. We like to call this New World in style, with a nod to New Zealand. Fermented in stainless steel, the only oak this wine sees is in the pencil I use to make notes. We love to drink this wine year round, but properly chilled, it's a first class warm weather sipper.
The bright acidity pairs well with salty and sweet combinations such as prosciutto wrapped grilled peaches, fresh basil and tomatoes, chopped raw vegetable salads and fresh goat cheese.
