The ideal 2012 growing season gave this Chardonnay abundant fruit expression and beautiful balance. With each swirl and sip, this wine fills your senses with lush white peach, ripe pear, Golden Delicious apple and Meyer Lemon notes. Hints of minerals and citrus blossoms, characteristic of coastal Chardonnay grapes, meld with fragrant vanilla-spice notes from oak aging. Barrel fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and aging the wine on the yeast enhanced its opulent, mouth-coating texture, while naturally crisp acidity gives the wine liveliness.
