Winery Notes:
The grapes for the Generations Cabernet Sauvignon grown in some of the best vineyards and appellations in the Napa Valley. The majority come from a vineyard in St. Helena that the Raymonds helped to plant over two- decades ago. The remaining grapes were sourced from our Rutherford estate vineyard and from a vineyard in Oakville, located just south of our estate. By blending grapes from the St. Helena, Rutherford and Oakville appellations, we are able to make a wine that truly represents the best of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and honors our five generation history or making wine in the Napa Valley.
Generations is a tribute to the Raymond family's five generations of wine- making in the Napa Valley. This limited production wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and the winery's ultimate expression of this varietal.
The Generations Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon offers seducing aromas of blackberry and ripe bing cherry that evolve into notes of all spice and mocha. Black raspberries, nutmeg and plum flavors coat the palate of this complex, balanced wine and lead to a long, lingering finish. Enjoy the Generations now with a brief decant or cellar the wine for up to 10-12 years beyond the release date for added bottle complexity and flavor development.
