By legal definition, ANY agave Spirit made outside of that region cannot be called Tequila. Agave Spirits from other places can use any variety of agave they want and are usually called Mezcal. Nose / Aroma / Smell - The aroma is strong with marzipan, black coffee, toasted oak, wildflower honey, papaya, and succulents.
Flavor / Taste / Palate - The palate has a surprising hit of pepper spice that opens up to an interesting Piña Colada note followed by raw herbs and earthy hay.
Finish - The finish is medium length, warm, and herbal.
