Cruzan Aged Dark Rum is a light brown rum distilled from fermented molasses, and has been aged two years in used whisky and bourbon barrels. A light-bodied, dry rum aged two to four years in used oak casks for smoothness. The standard of the Virgin Islands. While the age of many of the other Cruzan rums has decreased, Cruzan Aged Dark Rum is still aged at least two years. This well rounded dark rum is made from molasses on St Croix at the Cruzan distillery where fine rums have been made for more than 100 years.

Nose: Lot of nuance on the nose of light vanilla and lighter wood.
Palate: Caramel sweetness and notes of toasty hazelnut prevail.
Finish: The finish is medium to long with extended vanilla, toasty caramel and woody-nutty undertones.
