The Process:
Micro-oxygenation is a winemaking process which mimics the effects of slow barrel maturation in a shorter period of time while enabling more control over the process. Controlled exposure to oxygen during production improves the vodka, softening the texture while creating a silky mouthfeel.
Activated charcoal filtration is used during the micro-oxygenation process to further purify the vodka, removing any residual impurities and unwanted or unpalatable aromas or flavors.
Custom carbonado filtration is the final purification process. Carbonados, commonly known as "black diamonds", are the toughest and rarest form of natural diamond. The extra porous attributes of carbonados are able to extract impurities that a conventional filter cannot. The result is an extremely pure, crystal clean, ultra-smooth tasting vodka with a very pleasant aroma.
